Alard Dupont was a criminal that was killed by Trevor Herbert, who mistook Dupont for a vampire.
In the summer of 1982, Trevor discovered Alard Dupont. Herbert was in the grips of a heroin and vampire hunting addiction at this time. Dupont was a drug dealer who he suspected of being a vampire. A 19-year-old tramp with scars on his neck, going by the name Stanley Kubrick, pointed him out. Trevor spent some time watching Dupont, never observing him say a word. At one point, two police officers approached him, but left after a single look from the man.
Later on that day, Trevor followed Dupont into the Hacienda in Manchester, where he left some time later with another man. The tramp followed the men, attacking Dupont as he went into another building. Trevor slammed his hammer into Dupont's shoulder, who screamed in pain. When the alleged vampire fell to the floor screaming, Trevor realised his mistake but still killed him by a blow to the head. He tried to burn the body, but it did not ignite like a vampire's.
The reaction of the police to seeing Dupont may be explained by them recognising him as a notorious criminal not to approach, or that they are receiving bribes to not arrest him.
